Our client

Founded in 1945, Sisal is an Italian company operating in the regulated gambling sector. Over 75 years, Sisal has fostered a relationship of trust and credibility with stakeholders, promoting gaming design and management with an approach based on expertise, transparency and safety, guaranteeing full compliance with regulation standards.
Nowadays, the Italian Group operates a network comprising almost 40,000 retail outlets and it runs a range of 14 Apps.

The company’s development has been structured around three strategic pillars: Innovation, Internationalisation and Responsibility. Today, Sisal is also a key player abroad; in fact, the company has successfully managed to develop new business opportunities in Morocco, Spain and Turkey.

The project

Sisal were looking for a trusted microservices and DevOps partner to support the creation of their new loyalty program. The new loyalty platform had to work as a real-time web app across all gambling, betting and gaming activities.

The algorithms involved were extremely complex, and the relatively short timeframe was yet another challenge our teams faced on this project.

In order to provide the required UX/UI revamp of the existing platform, our developers began by conducting a detailed analysis of the client’s business needs, as well as a functional analysis of all the different gambling activities across Sisal’s entire customer base.

Once that was completed, we proceeded to design the platform architecture and define the technologies to implement to ensure the smooth running and overall security of the DevOps pipeline.

But our work didn’t stop once the platform was developed and deployed: we also coordinated the client’s team around the release and monitored and benchmarked the new platform, as well as providing 24/7 on-call technical support.
